Getting my hands and feet dirty in Aceh was a nice change from language study. Went to Aceh to help out a Alaska team work on my friend Ron's new farm. The road was in need of a little work. We got the bobcat stuck a few times and one time we got the dumptruck stuck.
Here is the farm house as it is now. I got there two days after the team so i couldn't help as much but i stayed two days after but we got rained on and had to stop because i was just sliding around in the bobcat in the mud. Kind of fun though.
After days of work we went to a island called Sabang to rest and have some fun. This is some of us on the ferry.
I bought a underwater case for my camera with my house rental money and was able to take some great pictures with it.
Above is me holding my breath for a good pic. The water was so clear.
One of the guys found lobster hiding under the coral. I reached down and grabed one but it pulled its antena off and swam away.
Huge starfish attacking one of the guys. Ha ha
Big Big school of different kinds of fish attacking parts of the reef and eating the stuff that comes off. Amazing.
Starfish kicking back in its own recliner.
Just so many fish to see. Feeling so blessed.
Look at this amazing fish, so beautiful. God is great.
Had a great time but now i am back to the books and the language. Hope you enjoyed the pics. comment if you like.

Hey there ~ those under water pics are SO cool. Makes me want to go somewhere warm! It's still only 38 degrees here, and that's higher than it has been. Crazy! Summer has got to be on it's way - right? Maybe by the time you get here, it'll be warm. :) Did you book a flight?
Catch you later man!
Love, Melissa
